You produce technically demanding and complex workpieces, as individual parts or in small series, and program multi-axis CNC machines independently and competently.
Ausbildung bei Durrer.
Seit etwa 40 Jahren bilden wir in unserem Betrieb Berufsleute aus. Zurzeit sind es fünf Polymechaniker und Automatiker. Wer eine einwöchige Schnupperlehre bei uns absolviert hat, kann sich bei Eignung und Verfügbarkeit für eine Lehrstelle bewerben. Unser zuständige für Lehrlingswesen André Becker und die jeweiligen Berufsbildner sind engagiert und ehrgeizig.
Ja, die fundierte Ausbildung von herausragendem beruflichem Nachwuchs ist uns eine Herzensangelegenheit. Auch Schnuppertage bieten wir an: Wer einen ersten Einblick in die Berufswelt erhalten möchte, kontaktiert uns am besten per E-Mail.
Schnuppertage.

Automation technician
Polymechanic
Automation engineers develop and build electrical control and automation systems, machines, and apparatus. Working with other specialists, they commission and program automated systems, and prepare documentation. This can be light signal, filling, or sorting systems, or beverage vending machines – whatever the product, automation engineers ensure that everything functions exactly as it should. Maintaining the systems and carrying out quality controls and repairs, they also work equally at the screen in the office and production hall.
Education:
– Intermediate or advanced secondary education level
– Good performance in mathematics and physics
Requirements:

– Interest in new technologies and electrical engineering
– Understanding of abstract relationships
– Good spatial imagination

– Enjoyment of precise and careful work
– Patience, endurance and concentration
Polymechanics manufacture tools, equipment parts, and production devices. As part of a team, they are involved in the development, manufacture, and assembly of entire production facilities. They program and operate machines, monitor production, commission and maintain equipment, and carry out quality control. Their area of responsibility is large and varied. They must handle different materials: these include metals, such as steel, chrome steel, or aluminium, and plastics and composites. They work manually with lathes, milling, drilling, and grinding machines, but above all, with computer-controlled machines.
